"Five Nights at Freddy's" hits theaters on October 27. This horror movie will star talented actors and actresses such as Josh Hutcherson, Matthew Lillard and Elizabeth Lail.
Produced by Blumhouse Productions and Striker Entertainment, "Five Nights at Freddy's" is based on the popular video game of the same name.
The indie survival horror-themed video game was created by Scott Cawthon and released in 2014. It is set in a pizzeria that uses robots (Animatronics) as its waiters.
Apparently, these robots are tasked with killing small children. The story in the game takes place from the 1970s to the 2000s.
Before watching, consider the following synopsis quoted from the IMDb page.
The plot of this movie is basically not much different from the plot in the game. As evidenced by the trailer that features the character Mike Schmidt as in the game, and also brings up his iconic robots.
The story will follow a security guard named Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson) who works at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza as a security guard. During his first night shift, he realizes that this job is not what he had imagined.
Freddy Fazbear's Pizza used to be very successful and popular with kids. But by the time Mike applied and started his job, the place was already very neglected.
Mike's discomfort grew after he was terrorized by 4 animatronic dolls that were the mascots of the place. The names of the four mascots are Reddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy.
The four mascots can move on their own or "animate" and kill anyone who is still in the restaurant in the middle of the night. Because Mike is a security guard at the place who certainly works late into the night.
No doubt if he was then terrorized by the four. Then how will he deal with all this horror?
